Education has the ability to transform lives. We, Nascent strongly believe that the gift of education should be within the reach of all sections of the society. Keeping in mind, the technological revolution which has made computer skills an important part of any profession, we focus on exposing the less-privileged section to these skills for free. We have a committed and passionate teams which go to schools in order to teach these programs. In addition, we also provide interactive CDs, which teach these skills in an interactive manner. The CD takes the user through the basics of the computer in terms of the hardware, software and firmware, familiarization with the Windows operating system, MS Office – the worldwide software for professionals – includes sections on MS word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel; and finally the internet – the most powerful technology of the last century. All of this ensures that the students do not feel left out in the present context and become confident in their knowledge so as to utilize it in order to create a better life for themselves.

“Health is wealth”. The long-term happiness of the individual and family centers on health. Prompt and appropriate healthcare can save lives and prevent maladies. In many parts of the world, the irony lies in the fact that massive advancements made in the field are available to a few and a large majority is still deprived of basic healthcare.

We have resolved to correct this wrong and our initiatives in this area include organizing free blood donation camps and health check ups. We have instituted services like mobile ambulances in remote areas where timely medical help can save lives. We have donated ambulances in areas such as Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and many others.

Many people become the victim of unfortunate circumstances where they are handicapped and become a liability to the society and their families. Our effort is to engage such people productively by providing customized education and vocational skills so that they are able to become breadwinners, feel wanted and are able to lead complete lives.

The fury of nature also leaves much destruction in its wake. The recent Tsunami is a case in point where millions of lives were shattered by the tragedy over which they had no control. We work towards providing aid to these people through creating shelters, trauma counseling and helping them in starting afresh.
